NPA Earthmoving Yusia Pty Ltd is a locally owned and operated Indigenous earthmoving and civil construction company based in Bamaga, in the Northern Peninsula Area. For over 15 years, we have delivered reliable earthmoving, roadworks, infrastructure and civil construction services across Bamaga, Injinoo, New Mapoon, Seisia, Umagico and the broader Cape York region.
Our motto, “You say it, we do it”, reflects our practical approach to getting the job done safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
NPA Earthmoving Yusia has grown from a local earthmoving business into a trusted civil construction company with the workforce, plant, equipment and systems to deliver both major and minor works in remote environments. The company has built strong relationships with local councils, government agencies, businesses and community organisations by delivering projects on time, within budget and with a strong focus on safety.
As a local Indigenous company, we are proud to create real employment and training opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in the Northern Peninsula Area. Our workforce is made up of local Indigenous community members, and since establishment we have employed or trained 149 local people across roles including machine operators, truck drivers, diesel fitters, labourers, supervisors, administration officers and trainees.
We understand the challenges of delivering projects in remote Cape York conditions, including distance, weather, logistics, access, workforce availability and community events. Our local knowledge allows us to plan properly, respond quickly and keep projects moving with minimal disruption.
We are committed to developing a skilled local workforce. Our supervisors and project managers provide on-the-job mentoring and practical training, while partnerships with training providers help staff obtain recognised qualifications and industry tickets, including civil construction, road construction and maintenance, heavy machinery operation, traffic control, white card, first aid and other relevant training.
